NCSU's College of Education has a new program for student teachers in partnership with the Study Abroad Office. Eligible NC TEACHers can fulfill licensure requirements by participating in Student Teaching Abroad. The program involves successfully teaching in North Carolina for 10 weeks, and then co-teaching in Beijing, China for the last 6 weeks of the semester. The program is available to NC TEACHers beginning Fall 2011. In order to be eligible, you must have the following requirements completed:
Grades of "C" or better on all 6 NC TEACH education classes.
Finished all content courses, with grades of "C" or better.
Passed the Praxis II in your subject area.
